Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Privacy at a glance. CallTextBurn collects the information needed to operate temporary second numbers, deliver communications, secure accounts, enforce service rules, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information. Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
CallTextBurn is the public brand of Melvin Global LLC, a Texas limited liability company. In this policy, “CallTextBurn,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Melvin Global LLC.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit calltextburn.com, use a CallTextBurn application, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our websites, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”). Our Terms of Use also govern the Service.
This policy does not govern a third party that we do not own or control. A telecommunications provider, carrier, payment processor, linked website, app store, device platform, or other third party may process information under its own privacy policy.
2. Personal information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and access information: username, password hash, invite or plan code, account status, creation time, and last-active time. CallTextBurn does not require an email address or personal mobile number for its current invite-only account registration. If you voluntarily email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your request.
- Assigned-number information: the temporary number assigned to an account, its provider identifiers and status, assignment and release dates, and number-change history.
- Communications: SMS or MMS content, sender and recipient numbers, direction, timestamps, delivery status, and provider identifiers. For calls, we may process the originating and destination numbers, direction, connection status, start and end times, duration, and provider identifiers. Connected call audio is not recorded by CallTextBurn. If an inbound call is not answered, the caller may leave a voicemail recording, which is stored by our telecommunications provider and made available in the account mailbox.
- Consent and safety records: messaging attestations, the version and time accepted, recipient complaints, HELP or STOP activity, abuse reports, enforcement decisions, and supporting evidence reasonably needed to investigate misuse or demonstrate compliance. The public SMS consent demonstration is non-operational and does not create an account, store an attestation, provision a number, or contact a carrier.
- Support and transaction information: messages you send to us, troubleshooting details, and, if paid functionality is offered, transaction status and limited billing records supplied by a payment provider. We do not need to store a full payment-card number when a payment processor handles the transaction.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, we and vendors operating it may receive technical and activity information such as IP address, request time, browser or device type, operating system, requested page or feature, authentication events, diagnostic data, error records, usage limits, message and call counts, and security signals. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the Service.
We may combine or de-identify information to produce statistics that do not reasonably identify an individual. We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information for service operations, capacity planning, security, compliance, and product improvement, subject to applicable law.
3. Browser storage and similar technologies
The public CallTextBurn site may use ordinary web technologies needed to display pages and remember basic preferences. The authenticated application may use local browser storage for an access token and session storage for temporary drafts, navigation state, or interface preferences. Information stored on your device may remain until it expires, you sign out, the application clears it, or you clear your browser data.
Third-party resources loaded by a page, such as web fonts or infrastructure services, may receive technical request information including your IP address and browser details. CallTextBurn does not currently describe the public site as operating a third-party behavioral advertising program. If that changes, this policy and any legally required choices or notices will be updated before such processing is represented as active.
4. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- create and authenticate accounts and provide requested Service features;
- assign, route, maintain, reclaim, and release temporary telephone numbers;
- transmit and display messages and connect calls;
- apply conversation, usage, eligibility, and plan limits;
- respond to support, privacy, and service requests;
- detect, investigate, prevent, and document spam, harassment, fraud, impersonation, security incidents, unlawful activity, or other misuse;
- enforce our Terms, provider requirements, and recipient STOP requests, including by suspending accounts and releasing numbers;
- maintain, debug, secure, measure, and improve the Service;
- process transactions and administer paid features if they are offered; and
- comply with legal, regulatory, carrier, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of CallTextBurn, users, recipients, providers, and others.
5. When we disclose information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary for the following purposes:
- Telecommunications operations: We use third-party telecommunications providers, including SignalWire for the current voice alpha and potentially other providers as the Service infrastructure changes, to provision numbers and route messages and calls. Communications and voicemail recordings necessarily pass through the provider and participating carriers serving the account and recipient.
- Operational service providers: Hosting, security, monitoring, support, professional, and payment vendors may process information for us under instructions appropriate to the service they provide.
- Legal process and safety: We may access, preserve, and disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, warrant, court order, or other binding legal process; respond to a lawful governmental request; investigate fraud or suspected unlawful activity; protect the integrity of the Service or provider networks; enforce agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of CallTextBurn, our personnel, users, recipients, providers, or others.
- Business changes: Information may be reviewed, transferred, or disclosed in connection with a financing, audit, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality measures and applicable law.
- At your direction: We may disclose information when you request or authorize us to do so.
We may notify an account holder about a request for information unless law prohibits notice, notice would create a safety or security risk, or the request is an emergency. We may challenge, narrow, or reject a request when we reasonably believe it is invalid, overbroad, unlawful, or unsupported, but we do not promise to contest every request.
6. Mobile information and messaging consent
Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction does not prevent disclosure to telecommunications providers, carriers, and operational service providers as necessary to deliver the messaging service, prevent abuse, comply with law, or honor HELP and STOP requests.
CallTextBurn provides temporary second numbers for manual, low-volume, one-to-one conversational SMS. Account holders use assigned numbers to exchange personal conversational messages—such as plans, check-ins, questions, and replies—with individual contacts. Message frequency varies with each conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
7. Communications-service records
Information about an account’s assigned number, service configuration, usage, routing, and billing may be sensitive communications-service information. We use it to provide and administer the Service, apply limits, support the account, prevent fraud and abuse, meet provider requirements, and comply with law. We do not disclose identifiable communications-service records for an unrelated third party’s marketing.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the Service, maintaining account and transaction records, resolving disputes, preventing repeated abuse, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal, carrier, accounting, or security obligations.
While a number is active, its associated communications and call records may remain available to the account. Our operational policy is to delete CallTextBurn’s accessible message and call records within 30 days after the number is released. Some information may remain longer in restricted backups, provider systems, security or abuse records, transaction records, or legal holds where deletion is not technically immediate or where retention is reasonably necessary or required. Providers and carriers set their own retention periods.
Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained when it no longer reasonably identifies you. The public registration demonstration stores no account or attestation data and resets when the page reloads.
9. Security and account protection
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted network connections, password hashing, access controls, authentication protections, and provider-webhook validation where applicable. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hardware or software failure, human error, or another event will never affect information.
You are responsible for choosing a strong password, keeping account credentials confidential, limiting access to your device, signing out when appropriate, and promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You may decline to provide optional information, although some information is required to provide particular features. You may stop using CallTextBurn, release an assigned number through available controls, or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete information, receive a portable copy, or appeal our response. You may also have a right to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. CallTextBurn does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such active sale or targeted-advertising program to opt out of.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including when we cannot verify it, an exception applies, or retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the rights of others. An authorized agent may submit a request when applicable law permits, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification.
Service and legal notices may still be provided even if you opt out of promotional communications. To stop messages sent through a CallTextBurn number, reply STOP; for assistance, reply HELP.
11. Children
The Service is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the Service from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected]. After reasonable verification, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
12. United States processing
CallTextBurn is a United States service operated from Texas. Information may be stored or processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from those where you live. We do not claim participation in an international data-transfer certification program unless we expressly identify that certification in this policy.
13. Third-party services and links
The Service may contain links to or interoperate with third-party services. Their collection, use, security, and retention practices are governed by their own terms and policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent privacy practices.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent. Your continued use after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your subsequent use.
