How CallTextBurn users enroll for messaging
CallTextBurn is a second-number phone service operated by Melvin Global LLC. It gives registered users a temporary number for manual, low-volume, one-to-one conversational SMS. Users send and receive personal messages such as plans, check-ins, questions, and replies with individual contacts.
Create account and attest
The real invite flow collects account information before the user actively accepts the messaging terms.
Select a temporary number
After attestation, the user deliberately selects one available CallTextBurn number. These 555 numbers are fictional.
Messaging enrollment confirmed
In the real private flow, the account is enrolled only after active attestation and number selection.
This demonstration stored nothing and provisioned no number.
Sending numbers and first messages
Messages originate from the temporary US local number displayed to an account holder after number selection, not from one shared subscription number. The initial outbound message must identify CallTextBurn and the account holder and include instructions to reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Mobile information sharing
Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose mobile numbers and message data only to telecommunications providers, carriers, and service providers as necessary to deliver the requested messaging service, prevent abuse, comply with law, and honor HELP and STOP requests.
Provider disclosure
Current app testing uses fictional numbers and delivers messages only between CallTextBurn test accounts. Real number provisioning and SMS service are being prepared through DIDWW.
